My Work Week - Clinician Management Tool

My Work Week is an healthcare tool that allows clinicians to keep track of important task so they can efficiently manage time and resources. The tool holds 3,200+ unique users and is utilized by is used by PCP's, Nurses (RN, LPN, MSAs). The current tool was functional but only updated once in the morning, making it difficult to track dynamically changing data. I worked alongside a team of developers, designers, and researchers to improve UI, accessibility and implement live updates for the tool. As a frontend engineer on the team, my responsibilities included implementing accessibility features for AA compliance, build UI components and assist with planning of larger features such as Cerner API intergration and print scheduling functionalities.

Key Results:

1. Developed a "Print a Day" feature which prints a user customizable patient appointment document from a calendar
2. Researched and assisted in implementing Cerner API into the application
3. Implemented over 50+ acccessibility enhancements to visual and screen reader UX
4. Implemented various enhancement features including, conflict notifications, check-in badges, and complex form submissions.
